Welcome

Integrative Medicine is oriented toward health, wellness, and prevention in addition to treatment. It is informed by evidence, takes lifestyle into account and places importance on the relationship between the clinician and the patient.

David Riley founded the Integrative Medicine Institute (IMI) in 1992 to study the growing healthcare crisis in the United States and inform healthcare decision-making. His particular interest has been in practice-based research with a focus on integrative therapies and outcomes.

Lynn Getz has been involved in Integrative Medicine since the 1990s. Her activities have included the Globe Foundation, Integrative Pediatric Council, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and the Bravewell Collaborative.
